The cost of processing CTLE certification through Quikitech is $60 for 12-hour courses (if available), $80 for 24-hour courses, and $100 for 36-hour courses. If one chooses to enroll in Quikitech courses through ASPDP, the rates for CTLE hours are determined by ASPDP. Please refer to their website for that update information.
Do I have to enroll in a course through both Quikitech AND ASPDP to earn CTLE hours?
No. As of December 6, 2018, participants can earn CTLE hours through Quikitech directly. The cost for processing CTLE certification is $60 for 12-hour courses, $80 for 24-hour courses, and $100 for 36-hour courses.
Do I need to go anywhere for assessments or attend any in person classes with Quikitech’s online CTLE courses?
All coursework including assessments take place on Quikitech’s online platform.
How many CTLE hours is one Quikitech course worth?
Quikitech courses are worth 24 or 36 CTLE hours, based on their design (and value in P-credits through ASPDP, even if a participant is not taking the course through ASPDP). Courses offered through ASPDP are worth 2 or 3 P-credits. Each P-credit is equivalent to 12 CTLE hours.
Is Quikitech an approved CTLE online sponsor?
YES! As of December 6, 2018, Quikitech is approved by the NYS DOE as a CTLE Sponsor. Our Sponsor ID # is 23655, and is valid through December 6, 2023. (If participants prefer, they may also take Quikitech courses through ASPDP and earn P-credits that are equivalent to 12 CTLE hours each.)
How long do I have to finish my online CTLE course?
Quikitech courses expire after 6 months from date of purchase, unless being taken in partnership with ASPDP.
If a participant is taking a Quikitech course in partnership with ASPDP, semester dates are determined and set by ASPDP. Participants must complete coursework within the assigned semester dates in order to receive credit.
