There are several sites that give recommended iPad apps to teachers. Here are a few:

1. http://www.apple.com/education/ipad/apps-books-and-more/

2. http://www.educatorstechnology.com/2012/12/a-list-of-all-best-ipad-apps-teachers.html

3.http://ww2.kqed.org/mindshift/2014/06/11/apps-that-rise-to-the-top-tested-and-approved-by-teachers/

4. http://www.scholastic.com/teachers/article/50-fab-apps-teachers

But if you want to know what apps I have used today – on 9/14/2015, the apps are

  1. Gmail

  2. Skype

  3. iBooks

  4. YouTube

  5. BibleGateway

Although there are 100,000’s of Apps, you will find that only about 5 to 10 are regularly used by you and your students. Ideally, you can treat Apps like books – and that is an educator should explore a new one (a new app) each month. It’s easy. Just go to the App store and then search on a topic like “teacher organization” or “student chat”.
