Equipped with an understanding of music and its role in cognitive and social development, participants will explore and articulate strategies for using music to enhance classroom learning. They will create lesson plans, write reflective and critical responses, share ideas and experiences, and become familiar with technological resources for integrating music.
This course will equip teachers with a research-based understanding of and practical implementation methods for integrating music in teaching to improve student learning.
This course provides the following types of credit:

Note: PDPs are determined by the number of clock hours. The number of PDPs may vary according to participant, up to a maximum of 45 PDPs. Participants must document their clock hours in order to receive credit.
